Girl Scout Virtual Mentorship Program: Ignite Your Future!
Are you a Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador Girl Scout ready to take your leadership skills, career aspirations, and Girl Scout experience to the next level? This revolutionary program connects you with inspiring female professionals for a virtual mentorship, empowering you to navigate the exciting world of career exploration!
Program Summary: Through virtual mentorship meetings and quarterly in-person meetings, girls will connect with a mentor in fields, such as STEM, business, healthcare, arts, and more. Girls will also participate in workshops and networking events to receive individual support and advice for achieving career goals, including Gold Award project planning. Throughout the sessions, girls will develop essential skills including confidence, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Program Structure:
- Virtual Mentorship: Monthly video calls with your mentor to discuss career goals, explore resources, and brainstorm ideas.
- Girl Scout In-Person Check-Ins: Quarterly events include workshops, panel discussions, and presentations on public speaking, financial literacy, personal branding, and more.
- Girl Scout Gold Award Mentorship: Dedicated support from your mentor to turn your vision into reality.

Registration Information: Open to Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors, with a minimum age of 13 years old. This is a fully grant funded program with funds provided through Colonial Life. With a grant, we are able to offer this program free of charge. Adult volunteers are free and support is only needed for in-person events.
The program will offer virtual mentorship sessions and in-person events at designated locations across the region. Specific locations will be announced prior to each event, along with a reminder email. In addition to the mentoring program, all participants will receive complimentary tickets to the Powerful Women Summit and our council's annual "Women of Distinction" event in September!
