KARINA and GIRL SCOUTS LAUNCH ESSAY CONTEST ON WWW.MEETKARINA.NET/GIRLSCOUTS
New York, NY - Def Jam recording artist Karina and Girl Scouts have launched the “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE” contest. Girls 13 years or older can submit essays explaining what “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE” means to them. Submissions can explain how they overcame a difficult obstacle in life, how they are working towards making the impossible possible, or how they have been inspired by Karina’s music. Ending September 30th, the contest winner will win the chance to meet Karina in person at the 2008 Girl Scout National Convention in Indianapolis. Teens can submit their essays at the Web site link above and also hear excerpts from Karina’s debut album, “First Love.”
