As we're sure you've seen in your communities, the Girl Scout Cookie Program is in full swing for our council. Across our 22 county jurisdiction, G.I.R.L.s are learning key financial literacy skills and earning troop funds to power amazing activities. More than just cookies, girls learn skills like goal setting, fiscal responsibility, team planning, and public speaking.
Here are a few quotes from girls here in our council about the power of the Cookie Program:
"Selling cookies is one of my favorite Girl Scout activities. I feel really proud when we meet our goal together, and we've gotten to do some amazing things because of the cookies! With our cookie money, we've gone rafting and horse back riding." Sara, 13, Greenville
"We wanted to take a trip to Savannah, Georgia with our cookie money, and because of that I learned how to plan a trip. When we hit our goal, and went on the trip later that summer, it made the trip even better." Natalie, 12, Spartanburg
