The education and employment disparities between males and females in science, technology, engineering and math professions makes Girl Scouting committed to offering opportunities for girls’ exploration of education and careers in STEM areas. Our all-girl environment and use of enthusiastic female role models provide an encouraging environment with eye-opening, thought-provoking ideas.

Digital bling is our fun away of learning the basics of electronics! You will begin this session by learning all about circuitry and LEDs. After girls have created a circuit and figured out how to make different gadgets work, they will learn how to turn on their own LEDs and get creative. With their newfound knowledge, makers will be able to create headbands, pins, and clips that light up, sparkle, and glow! This two hour experience includes time to explore the EdVenture Children’s Museum.
