Girl Scout Product Sales activities are a valuable part of our Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Program.

Today’s Girl Scouts know what they want. They take action to meet challenges, connect with others and achieve goals. The product sales programs embrace that “can-do” attitude as girls set goals, make decisions, learn about themselves and exceed even their own expectations.

Girls learn business skills including budgeting, financial responsibility, banking practices, creating a business plan, tracking sales progress, marketing, and partnering with other girls and adults as they plan for using their proceeds to enhance their opportunities and experiences through Girl Scouting.

Girls learn life skills including project planning and implementation, goal-setting, teamwork, public speaking, self-confidence, community awareness, and partnering with businesses and organizations to serve others.

Mountains to Midlands offers two hands-on product sale learning experiences. Each fall season, nuts, candies, magazine subscriptions and music selections are available through our partnership with Ashdon Farms and QSP/Readers’ Digest. This year’s activities will help girls learn to GO GREEN!
