Gold Award Project
The 10:27 Project
“My Gold Award Leadership Project was based on the Bible verse Luke 10:27 which involves loving God and neighbor with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. I used this as a guideline to mentor an 11-year-old during the spring and summer,” Susannah shares. “I had to take more initiative in my leadership during the Gold Award process, relying on myself rather than being part of a leadership team. I had to be more creative and more thorough in taking care of all the details. The process is very rewarding.”
