Local troop ready to sell cookies

1/19/2010 10:08 PM

Local troop 5775 from Grace United Methodist Church went Saturday, Jan. 9, to Aiken to get more training about selling the 2010 Girl Scout cookies. An Aiken Girl Scout troop sponsored the Cookie Rally. Cookie sales for the local S.C. troops began Friday morning at 12:01 a.m.

Cookies cost $3.50 per box
Cookie deliveries will begin the week of Feb. 16.

Cookie types available include Peanut Butter Patty (formerly the Tagalong), Peanut Butter Sandwich (formerly the Do Si Do), Caramel Delights (formerly the Samoa), Shortbreads (formerly the Trefoils), All Abouts, Daisy Go Rounds, Thin Mints and Lemonades.

Supporting the annual Girl Scout Cookie sales support the local troops ability to service girls and their families in the community. They are able to complete community service projects, learn about community and state and go to camp.
