There will be a Girl Scout Exhibit at the SC State Fair for Girl Scouts 100 year anniversary!! Service Units that are willing to help with this exhibit area have been assigned a day at the fair!! The Girl Scout Exhibit will be occupying 5,500 sq. ft. in the back third of the Ruff Building.
Service Unit 643 and 645 will be working together on October 19. We need 5 volunteers to cover the day - from 10am - 10pm - any amount of time that you can give is what we need!!
Please ask your leaders, volunteers and parents if they are willing to help and contact Christy Hall (email@example.com) with who, when and how long they can help. Christy needs to know that we have enough volunteers to cover the day before August 20. If we don't have enough volunteers we need to let the Council Office know so another Service Unit can be offered this wonderful opportunity.
Displays include Girl Scout History; Girl Scout Greats; Girl Scout Forever Green; STEM; Alumnae Identification; 2012 Girl Scout Gold Award and Project displays; National Girl Scout Program Portfolio; ToGetHerThere; and Camping!
Check www.gssc-mm.org/100Portal for additional details.
Even if you can't volunteer to help with the exhibit make sure you stop by to help GSSC-MM to meet the 30,000 alumnae challenge!
