Camp WaBak - Counselor in Training II
Rising high school juniors who have earned your CIT I mentoring award can take part in the Counselor In Training II program. This training is designed to provide older girls with a more "hands-on" experience where they engage in real camp situations working with younger campers, but under appropriate supervision. Throughout this two-week program, you will plan programs for younger girls, shadow other counselors, be trained in and help facilitate different areas at camp, and learn more about camp administration. Rising high school seniors, regardless of CIT I completion, may take part in the CIT II program, with the potential of working as a Junior Counselor for the rest of the summer. Girls attend both weeks, but do not stay over the weekend.
Registration: Opens on December 13, 2021 to members and February 1, 2022 to non-members. Not a member? Become a Girl Scout for an annual fee of $25 and get access to early registration.
