Earning the Gold Award is the highest award Girl Scouts can earn! Eligible girls are required to present both their proposal and final projects to the Gold Award Committee to receive feedback and tips on their Take Action Project. Presentation meetings take place on the third Sunday of the month except for May and December when meetings are not held. November meetings will take place either the first or second Sunday of the month due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Registration will close one month prior to the meeting date. Once registered, girls must have all projects completed and loaded into GoGoldOnline. Girls must meet with the same committee twice. Prerequisite: Before registering, girls must watch a Gold Award training.
Columbia committee meetings will take place virtually via Zoom.
The March Presentation Meeting will be the last meeting where girls can receive approval on their Gold Award Final Reports.
