Math in Nature at Wistagoman
Explore nature through numbers with our new Math in Nature badges. Learn about temperature, time, and space in the world around us. Take part in hands-on activities such as creating a sundial and learning about plants through measurements and designs. Girls will also participate in field and group games.
The program is held at Camp Wistagoman in Anderson on March 25. It begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 12:30 p.m. Activities will wrap up just in time for lunch. Bring a bagged lunch and enjoy a picnic at the outdoor pavilion. All participants will need to dress for the weather, wear closed toe shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle for the day.
The program is open to members in all levels, starting at first grade. Adults are needed to meet ratio requirements. The program costs $10 per girl.
