Interested in backpacking in the future? Learn and practice the skills needed, while having fun. We will be cooking on backpacking stoves, practicing buddy tenting, learning how to pack a pack, exploring water purification, planning menus, and learning what not to pack. This will be a two-night experience in Santee State Park where we will be camping in two person tents. Gear and meals will be provided. A required informational Zoom meeting will be held Sunday, September 29 at 6:00 pm.
Event is open to members only and it is for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Cost is $30 per girl. There are no adult spaces available.
After the event, participants will receive a form indicating which badge requirements they will have fulfilled.
