Are you interested in becoming a Program Aide or a VIT? Join this training to discover your talents in mentoring and leading younger children. The Program Aide (PA) and Volunteer-in-Training (VIT) leadership opportunity is designed to help Girl Scouts gain the confidence, knowledge, and expertise needed to guide younger girls. This training helps to prepare them to hold future leadership positions within, and outside of, Girl Scouting. Girls will have the opportunity to connect with other teen Girl Scouts from around the council.
Girls wishing to participate in the Volunteer-in-Training program must have completed the ninth grade before attending this session.
This is a girls-only training located at Cathedral Community Church in Mauldin, SC on October 5. Cadettes will take part in Program Aide training while Seniors and Ambassadors journey through Volunteer-in-Training. Girls will be working towards earning their PA or VIT award.
Check-in will take place between 7:45-8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5. Training begins at 8:30 a.m.
Program Aides and Volunteer-in-Training pick-up will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Registration is open to members only. The cost is $25 per girl. Adults do not need to participate in the training.
Confirmation emails will be sent out three to five business days before the program's start date. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact customercare@gssc-mm.org.
Cancellations with a refund request must be submitted to Customer Care before Sunday at midnight. No refunds will be issued to any/all cancellation requests after midnight on Sunday.
