At our Powerful Women Summit, girls will have the opportunity to not only hear our career women share their stories about how they got into their career field and what has helped them become successful, but also become active participants! Dressed in business attire, our girls will rotate from table to table in a speed-networking setup to allow them the opportunity to ask personalized and in-depth questions directly to each woman, one at a time. This event, an older girl favorite, is a unique experience that allows teen girls to connect with local and empowering career women!
This event is open to members and non-members, so we encourage our Girl Scouts to bring a friend! (Adults are unable to register). Girls must be Seniors and Ambassadors, or in grades 9-12, with a minimum age of 13.
Registration is open through September 2. This event is grant-funded and completely free! Attendees should wear appropriate business attire. All girls will receive an event patch.
The location will be at the Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center in Columbia. Drop-off is from 9:15-10:00 am. Pick-up is from 2:00-2:30pm. Lunch will be provided.We mean business, but this event is loads of fun!
