programming activities are age-appropriate:

Girl Scout Cadettes
Girl Scout Seniors
Girl Scout Ambassadors
K5 – grade 1
grades 2 – 3
grades 4 – 5
grades 6 – 8
grades 9 – 10
grades 11 – 12

Girl Scout Juliettes are girls in any age category who participate in Girl Scouting on an individual
basis rather than in a troop/group setting.

Girl Scout adults are women and men age 18 and older.

The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
         honest and fair,
         friendly and helpful,
         considerate and caring,
         courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
         respect my self and others,
         respect authority,
         use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.

A national membership fee of $15.00 applies to every registered member.
Financial assistance is available – contact your Regional Service Center for more information.

Most girls participate in Girl Scouting through a troop setting. Another way to be a Girl Scout is to join as
an individually-registered Juliette.

Troops belong to a service unit that is a geographic grouping of troops.

Service units are under the supervision of the council, who provides support, training, resources, materials,
program opportunities, maintenance of our camps and much more for the girls and adult volunteers.

Girl Scout program activities conform to the policies, guidelines and standards in the Blue Book of Basic
, Safety-Wise and in the Volunteer Essentials of the council. Care is taken at all times to provide
for the safety and security of girls. Leadership volunteers are subject to a background check.
