New Orleans Adventure: July 26- July 29, 2024
Ignite
Your Passion! This trip is great for Girl Scouts who are interested in
art, culture, and history.
This council trip will allow
Girl Scouts to experience many of the landmarks in New Orleans that
are recognized worldwide. Traveling by bus, along with a stop in
Montgomery, AL, you will have fun and exciting stops along the way.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit famous NOLA
areas, stroll through the French Quarter, go on tours, and have fun!
Choose your dining experiences at local favorites and soak up the
vibrant atmosphere. Don't miss this unique blend of education and
southern hospitality!
We will stay in the heart of the
French Quarter and experience New Orleans on foot or by water.
Activities include: Swamp Tour, Mardi Gras Museum Tour, and the Rosa
Parks Museum in Montgomery, AL. Full Itinerary will be provided after
registration closes.
Cost: $600 ($100 deposit is
required). Registration includes lodging, transportation, and entrance
fees to museums or activities. Dinner/restaurant meals not included.

Registration closes July 1, 2024.
*If registering any
time on or after May 31, 2024, full payment ($600) is due at
registration.
*If you registered prior to April 29, full payment
is due on July 1.
Who can attend? Girl Scouts entering
grades 9-12 and adults. Members only. There are limited spots
available for adult chaperones in order to allow more girl
registrations.
Requirements: Positive attitude, teamwork
mindset, ability to follow instructions, and lean into new experiences
while trying new foods! Must be able to walk long distances in hot
weather. Please dress accordingly and be comfortable.
Equipment: A packing list will be provided after registration.
