Aspire to Intern aims to improve academic and professional outcomes for underrepresented students by increasing their awareness of internship opportunities and equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to secure and excel in those internships.
We offer in-person and virtual workshops for high school and college students in groups or through individual coaching. Though our mission addresses underrepresented students, ALL students will benefit from our services as they are essential for career success!

We offer cooking classes for adults and children. We would like to offer in person or virtual cooking classes for girl scouts to participate in so they can earn certain culinary themed badges. This can be done as individuals or in a group setting. If virtual classes are what the participants choose, we can provide all ingredients (locally) for either pickup or delivery. For those not local, we could still provide the class and recipes, but they would be responsible for purchasing their own ingredients.

Harbison State Forest is an educational forest that is managed by SC Forestry Commission. Currently SCFC offers an annual badge workshop for Girl Scouts – Cadette “Naturalist” Tree Badge Workshop. “Grab your naturalist hat and get ready to get to know trees from the shade to the science, the fruit to the forest, and the legends to the lumber.” Scouts will cover all five requirements during this 3.5 hour program. SC Forestry Commission is happy to offer education programs by request. All programs need to be focused around a tree or forestry related theme. We require a minimum of 10 students and will see a maximum of 50 students for a program.

Think Like a Programmer: An Online Journey
Are you interested in learning more about coding? Do you want to become a computer programmer? Participate in CodeCampKidz to dig deeper into coding and earn your Think Like a Programmer Journey! This journey is progressive and self-paced, allowing you to work through the process on your own time and learn new concepts in every session. Each activity is reviewed and supported by the staff at CodeCampKidz. The journey will culminate in a final project to earn a Certificate of Completion. Once you complete this journey, you are welcome to continue with other options. Additional learning plans are available for purchase through CodeCampKidz.
Girls can start the program at any time after enrollment is completed. There is a $20 fee. After completion, Think Like A Programmer Journey badges can be purchased from the Girlz Gear shop.
This program is completely virtual. All you need to participate is a modern browser, high speed Wi-Fi, and a computer with audio capability. Unfortunately, Chromebooks are not supported.

The Charlotte Youth Ballet provides student dancers an opportunity to perform in professional level productions.
