The biggest Girl Scout adventures are still ahead.

Whether you have a girl in Girl Scouts or are a dedicated volunteer, so much has been accomplished, discovered, and explored over the past year. And there’s even more ahead—more opportunities to try new things and to remain part of something truly special, supportive, and inspiring year after year.

The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027. Annual membership dues are $65 for girl members and $30 for adult members. Additional local feels fees and discounts may apply. Financial aid may be available. Girl Scout memberships must be renewed annually.

For Families: How to Renew Yourself or Your Family toggle arrow

Log into MyGS. You’ll need the email address and password you used to sign up for Girl Scouts. If you need help accessing your account, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Returning to the same troop and/or volunteer role?
- Once you’ve logged into your account, click the “Renew Now” button to renew all members of your household.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit. Note: Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).
Not returning to the same troop or volunteer role?
- Click/tap on “My Household” in the left hand menu. 
- Check the “Select All” boxes or indicate the girls and adults in your household who you’d like to renew.
- Check the “Not Returning” box next to the troops or roles you’re not continuing with this year.
- You can continue to renew without choosing a new troop. Contact us to connect with a new opportunity in your area.
- Click “Add Renewal.”
- Confirm that the details for your household members are correct. Then, choose the membership year and select your desired payment type.
- Some Girl Scout councils offer financial assistance or allow Girl Scouts to renew their membership with program credits. Connect with your  local Girl Scout council to learn more.
- Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details” button .
- Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
- You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).

For Troop Leaders: How to Renew Your Troop toggle arrow

Review your cart and make any adjustments needed, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and click the “Add Payment Details button.
Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your troop renewal(s).

How do I renew? toggle arrow

All Girl Scout membership renewals are completed in your Girl Scout account online. Renewals can be completed by either a primary caregiver who manages the account, or by a troop leader.

For Primary Caregivers:

Login to your Girl Scout Account & click “My Account”
Select “My Household” on the left menu bar

To renew...

All members and roles within your household, click the “Select All” box under both Adults and Girls, or
Select each member and role individually
Click “Review Cart” and complete any information to process payment

For Troop Leaders:

Login to your Girl Scout Account & click “My Account”
Select “My Troop(s)” on the left menu bar

All members and roles in your troop, click the “Select All” box under both Adults and Girls, or
Select each member and role individually
Click “Review Cart” and complete any information to process payment

All members have the option to pay by credit card in their Girl Scout account. Girl members may also be renewed with Cookie Dough. To pay with Cookie Dough, please select the “Program Credits” option as your payment type. Primary Caregivers have the option to request Financial Aid. Please allow 3-5 business days for both Cookie Dough and Financial Aid processing. staff member will follow up directly if there are insufficient Cookie Dough funds for the renewal. All Financial Aid requests are required to submit an additional form that will be emailed to the member the following business day. Memberships are not active until full payment is received.

Why isn’t my username working?
Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact our Customer Care team.

Why am I not receiving the password reset emails?
The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact our Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
Our Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account. Contact us to get started.

Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
There are a couple reasons this could happen:

Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact our Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.

You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact our Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
There are several reasons this could happen:

Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Contact us to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.

If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.
