Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands Influencers is a program where girls learn and have fun with marketing and reporting. They’ll gain hands-on experience pitching a story, using social media for brand awareness, and sharpening their communication skills.
As the official girl faces and voices of GSSC-MM Girl Influencers will:
- Receive exclusive training from local media professionals and coaches
- Represent Girl Scouts at council and community events
- Record videos and pictures for social media
- Participate in interviews and other media-related opportunities (radio, TV, and print)
Girls wishing to join the GSSC-MM Influencers must commit to participation in the program for at least one Girl Scout program year (October 1 to September 30). For the 2025 membership year, we will run the program February 1-September 30.
This commitment includes covering at least two events/media opportunities as requested.
