Join the Dottie Rose Foundation at the Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center for an electrifying, workshop that turns coding into real-world action! You'll step into the role of a sustainable engineer, learning essential computer science skills like sequencing and debugging. You will command a Sphero RVR robot to navigate a model city and program the most efficient route to install energy-saving technology! This mission directly reflects the innovative work of our grant partner, Trane Technologies, and their commitment to efficiency. No experience needed-just bring your problem-solving skills!
Who can attend: All girls in 3 - 12 grade:
* Any girl (Community Members & Girls Scouts)
* Girl Scout Troops
Adults/Caregivers can attend with their kids. Adults will not be tasked with leading the program or activities but can stay for the duration of the program and provide supervision.
Campers will need to bring a bagged lunch and a reusable water bottle. More information about drop off and pick up will be sent out via a confirmation email. Confirmation emails will be sent out three to five business days prior to the program's start date. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact customercare@gssc-mm.org.
Cancellations will be handled through Customer Care. Council staff will notify everyone if they need to cancel at least by the day before, December 18, 2025. Refunds will be given up to one week prior to the event; please contact Customer Care at customercare@gssc-mm.org directly to handle all refunds/cancellations.
