Before the Curtain is an interactive presentation exploring the art and athleticism of ballet in a fun and educational format. Girl Scouts will be given an inside look at the components that make a professional ballet performance magical: the costumes, the props, the lighting, the music and, of course, the dancers. This is a pre-performance experience. Tickets to performance sold separately.
* $25 per troop (up to 15 Girl Scouts)

This is a troop-based event, not a drop-off event. Any/all girls will need to register with a Troop Leader or Chaperone to be allowed to attend. Individually registered girls with adults are welcome to register as well. Adults will not be tasked with leading the program or activities but are required to stay for the duration of the program and provide supervision. If a registered and background checked adult cannot stay for the program, then the troop may not attend the program.
Confirmation emails will be sent out three to five business days prior to the program's start date from Charlotte Youth Ballet. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact customercare@gssc-mm.org.
Cancellations will be handled through Charlotte Youth Ballet. Charlotte Youth Ballet will notify everyone if they need to cancel at least by the day before, December 5, 2025. Refunds will be given up to one week prior to the event; please contact Charlotte Youth Theater directly to handle all refunds/cancellations.
