Ready to tackle the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award? This overnight training session equips aspiring leaders (8th grade Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors) with the skills and strategies to launch impactful projects. Mark your calendars for Friday, May 31 at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. This program is designed to equip you with the essential skills and strategies you need to develop and execute a groundbreaking Gold Award project that will leave a lasting impact.

What awaits you at the Gold Award Overnight Training?
1. Master the Gold Award Process: Dive deep into every step of the Gold Award journey, from identifying a community issue to securing project approval and showcasing your accomplishments.
2. Leave feeling confident and prepared to navigate every stage of the process.
3. Develop Your Leadership Potential: Unleash your inner leader through workshops and activities that hone your communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Learn how to effectively lead your team and inspire others to join your mission.
4. Craft a Winning Project Proposal: Learn how to translate your passion into a compelling and impactful project proposal. Gain valuable insights on research methods, budgeting strategies, and creating a clear and achievable action plan.
5. Network & Share Ideas: Connect with fellow go-getters and share your project ideas in a supportive and collaborative environment. Gain inspiration from others and build a network of support as you embark on your Gold Award adventure.

The program is held at the Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center in Columbia. Dinner is not provided and girls should plan to eat before arrival. Breakfast is provided on Sunday and snacks will be available throughout the night. Cost is $35 per girl. Adults are $5 per person. This event is for members only. Minimum age is 13 (8th grade Cadettes).

Confirmation emails will be sent out three-five business days prior to the program's start date. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact customercare@gssc-mm.org. If an event does not meet minimum requirements, it might get cancelled. If cancelled, refunds will be processed and participants will be notified.

Cancellations with a refund request must be submitted to Customer Care before Sunday at midnight. No refunds will be issues to any/all cancellation requests after midnight on Sunday.
