This in-person course prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding diapering picking up and holding children safety and emergency response. Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training certificate upon completion.

All attendees must bring a lunch, water bottle, and doll for hands on practice.

 

Adults/Caregiver/Troop Volunteers must attend for the duration of the event for adequate supervision of girls.

  • Any girl with an adult (Parent or Caregiver)
  • Girl Scout Troops with proper volunteer to youth ratio as required in Safety Activity Checkpoints

Cancellation and refund requests should be emailed to customercare@gssc-mm.org. Refunds will be provided for cancellation requests received by December 1, 2025.

 

American Red Cross requires a minimum of 6 attendees to facilitate this training. Refunds will be provided the week of December 1st if minimum registrations are not met.
