What happens when engineering meets creativity? Girls will find out as they design, build, test, and troubleshoot their very own Doodle Bot!
In this hands-on workshop in Columbia, girls will explore the Engineering Design Process while creating a robot that can skittle around, act as a fan, and create colorful drawings with markers. Along the way, they'll discover that things don't always work perfectly the first time-and that's part of being an engineer!
Build it. Test it. Tinker with it. Try again! Girls will practice problem-solving and resilience while learning to see mistakes as opportunities to improve. Best of all, each girl will take her Doodle Bot home with her!
This workshop is a fast-paced, in-depth learning workshop led by EdVenture Children's Museum. Entrance to the museum is included with your registration.
This is not a drop-off event. Any/all girls will need to register with a Troop Leader or Chaperone to be allowed to attend. Individually registered girls with adults are welcome to register as well. Adults will not be tasked with leading the program or activities but are required to stay for the duration of the program and provide supervision.
Confirmation emails will be sent out three to five business days prior to the program's start date. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact customercare@gssc-mm.org.
