Strengthen the bond that matters most. This two-hour experience invites Girl Scouts and their trusted adult-whether a female caregiver or troop leader-to connect in meaningful ways through guided activities focused on social-emotional health and positive
relationships. Led by Mary Addison Yates, owner of Journey2Empowerment, participants will build
communication skills, deepen trust, and leave with tools to support one another long after the session ends.
This month's session: One minute everything's fine. Then something happens and the next day nobody's talking and nobody remembers why. This session is for the eye rolls, the misread
texts, the "I thought we were good" moments - and more importantly, what to do afterwards. Girls and their trusted adults will learn how to navigate tension, talk through the hard stuff, and actually reconnect. Not just pretend everything's fine -but for real this time.
Focus areas:
Speaking honestly and respectfully even when it's hard
Navigating tension and misunderstandings
Repairing and reconnecting after conflict
