Discover local Native American history at the Catawba Cultural Center. Through a guided hike, campfire cooking (learn how to make cornmeal and/or acorn flour using raw materials), and hands-on activities, Girl Scouts will explore Catawba traditions, connect with the land, and gain a deeper appreciation for Native heritage.
This is not a drop-off event. Any/all girls will need to register with a Troop Leader or Chaperone to be allowed to attend. Individually registered girls with adults are welcome to register as well. Adults will not be tasked with leading the program or activities but are required to stay for the duration of the program and provide supervision.
Confirmation emails will be sent out three to five business days prior to the program's start date. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contactcustomercare@gssc-mm.org.
