Join us for a fun-filled day on the beautiful Saluda River near Greenville, SC! This relaxing tubing adventure offers the perfect combination of scenic views, cool water, and outdoor fun. Participants will enjoy a leisurely float through sections of calm water and gentle shoals while taking in the natural beauty of the Upstate. Depending on river conditions, the trip typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours, providing plenty of time to relax, connect with fellow Girl Scouts, and enjoy the summer sunshine.
This experience is ideal for Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, and adult volunteers looking for a memorable outdoor adventure. Along the way, keep an eye out for turtles, birds, fish, and other wildlife that call the Saluda River home. Tubes, life jackets, and shuttle transportation are included. Participants must wear secure shoes that will stay on their feet while on the river and should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled launch time for check-in and safety instructions. To help speed up the check-in process, waivers should be completed and signed in advance.
This is not a drop-off event. Any/all girls will need to register with a Troop Leader or Chaperone to be allowed to attend. Individually registered girls with adults are welcome to register as well. Adults will not be tasked with leading the program or activities but arerequiredto stay for the duration of the program and provide supervision.
