Camp Director April

Hello campers and families! My name is April and I am the new Program Manager/Camp Mary Elizabeth (CME) Camp Director. This will be my first summer at CME, and I am beyond excited to get camp started and meet all the new faces. With over 20 years of experience working with camps throughout the Northeast, I can’t wait to see what the South has in store!

I love being in nature and teaching young girls about the magic and hidden wonders the natural world provides. Singing songs, acting out skits, and making s’mores around the campfire are some of my favorite camp traditions. I’m especially excited to learn about the history and traditions of CME—and to help create new ones along the way.

CME truly is the best-kept secret of Spartanburg, and I can’t wait to be part of such a special community!
