It all starts here. Juniors team up with fellow Girl Scouts to explore their community, discover a need or issue they care about, and work together to address it. It’s a chance to create a plan and make an impact on the community they live in.
You can become a Bronze Award Girl Scout if you:
- Are in fourth or fifth grade
- Are a registered Girl Scout Junior
- Have completed a Junior Leadership Award
The deadline for current fifth graders to submit the Bronze Award Proposal is April 1, 2026, to be able to attend the Highest Award Ceremony in Spring of 2026. The last day to submit the Bronze Award Final Report form is September 30 of your sixth grade year.
How to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award
- Build your Girl Scout Junior team
- Explore your community
- Decide on a project to work on
- Make a plan of action
- Put your plan in motion
- Spread the word
- Submit your final report using the Final Report & Certificate Request Form.
